Nice article and argument on voter id laws. What was missing was the full landscape of how politics effect voting outcomes. Nothing was mentioned on electoral college, redistricting of voting areas to benefit political parties, rural versus urban to name a few. All of these areas have ways to diminish the impact of one sector from another. Some interesting questions for the future is the effect of the internet in voting and will participation increase and change the dynamic of politics. Only time will tell.
