There is an interesting change occurring. Babies born today will never drive cars like we do today. Think of that statement. It really caught my attention as I read Carol Cain’s article. Currently, ride sharing services are going in popularity, i.e. Uber and Lyft are great examples.
Maven is a new style of this service. You can access a rental vehicles for $7 per hours though your cell phone. SPLT is another service allowing customers to car pool, used mainly by customers who are co-workers for the same company.
As we can see, there are other ways to assist customers in this space. I have a feeling this is not going to stop. There will be more innovation in this arena to benefit the customer.
