This is a great study on market volume.  I am sure many people have theories on this issue.  In this article by MarketWatch, the average daily volume went from 4.3 billion shares in 2006 to 5.8 billion shares in 2014, a 35% increase.  With all the variation in the graph, this looks like a true Black Belt project to determine the cause.  When you understand the cause, you can make profits.  I’m looking forward to provide updates on this topic throughout the year.
