There is a big debate within the Lean Six Sigma community regarding lists and what should be on a list for implementation of Lean Six Sigma.  I favor lists to not having lists since the list defines the process and has multiple people review the list for omissions or improper inclusion.  In this article, we see a critical function list for Six Sigma.  Overall, I agree with the article and expect all four points to be covered in every Six Sigma project.  In fact, I use these everyday as an accountant.

  • Control Charts
  • FMEA – Failure Modes and Effects Analysis
  • Histogram
  • Pareto Chart
