A graduate of both the University of Michigan and of Michigan State University, Gary Kapanowski enjoys an extensive educational background, one that he continues to build on in an effort to maintain professional relevance and value to his employer. He is now in possession of both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Business Administration, and is currently holds many professional certifications from such educational institutions as Lawrence Technological University, St. Clair Community College and Macomb Community College. Gary Kapanowski is currently certified in Lean Six Sigma as a Green Belt, a Black Belt and a Master Black Belt, as well as Lean Process Improvement.
Now an employee of Moeller Manufacturing, Gary Kapanowski can proudly claim an expertise in multiple computer platforms, including many Microsoft products and automated financial and accounting systems. He has an in-depth understanding of and experience with Crystal Report writer, IFS-ERP Implementation and team member training and the Materials Replenishment System or MRP. He is also skilled with the use of the Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains Financial Accounting Software, Sequel and Minitab.
Gary Kapanowski has experience working with important national defense organizations, as well as companies within the aviation and advanced manufacturing industries. His experience includes regulatory compliance auditing for the DCAA, the Department of Defense, the Federal Aviation industry and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. He is also an expert in budget planning, performance cycle management and organizational budgeting.
Gary Kapanowski has served numerous organizations as a high-quality mentor, as well as a skilled corporate trainer. He is also an experienced professional lecturer, and has been an active and effective voice for community improvement with the Macomb Literacy Partners organization.
